ESCA Solutions is an independent engineering company specialising in industrial automation, electronics, and software, operating from North Brabant (the Netherlands) and Catalonia (Spain). What data we collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, project description, and — if you choose to share them — your company name and phone number.
When you browse the website, our hosting provider processes limited technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, in server logs used to deliver the site securely and reliably. We do not use this data to identify you.
Why we process your data
We use the details you submit through the contact form to respond to your inquiry, assess your project request, and follow up on a potential collaboration. Technical data is processed to operate, secure, and maintain the website.
Legal basis
We process contact inquiries on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where your inquiry may lead to a contract, in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into that contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The technical processing required to run the website securely is based on our legitimate interest in operating a safe and functional website.
How long we keep your data
We keep contact inquiries for as long as necessary to handle your request, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact. If an inquiry leads to a project engagement, related correspondence may be retained longer as part of our business and accounting records, in line with statutory retention obligations.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run this website: our email delivery provider (Resend), which forwards contact form submissions to our inbox, and our hosting provider (Vercel), which hosts the website. Both act as processors on our behalf under data processing agreements.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands or the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD) in Spain.
