A fully integrated robotic pick and place cell designed for high-speed small-part handling in a manufacturing environment.
Challenge
The client needed a compact, safety-rated robot cell capable of handling small plastic components at high speed with minimal footprint on the production floor.
Solution
We designed and integrated a compact ABB robot cell with custom gripper tooling, PLC-based coordination with the upstream conveyor system, and full safety-rated cell enclosure meeting CE requirements.
Outcome
The cell achieved target cycle times from day one, with reliable operation and minimal downtime. Operator training was completed in a single session.
